My first blog

This is my first blog and I don’t quite know what I will write. The focus will be on honey bees, anything from what I see them doing in my garden to research we are doing in my lab. It will probably also include occasional comments on various media reports on bees, and the odd comment on bee research generally. I’ll try to keep it suitably professorial and entomological and not bore you with too much extraneous stuff.
